About the Health and Safety Module

You may not realise, many chemical products used during cleaning are dangerous. Not only can they be detrimental to your health and the environment but they can also cause fires. Faulty electrical installations or handling errors are another risk that can cause unnecessary accidents.

As an employer, you have the responsibility to make sure your employees have a safe working environment. However, employees should also contribute to the review and development of best working practices. It is vitally important that you are able to properly identify common workplace accident hotspots so you can prevent them before someone gets hurt.

By the end of this course you will be able to eliminate risks in the most effective way by understanding health and safety signs as well as hazard symbols. You will also be able to apply specific requirements that are necessary for the various working environments.
